Gypsy Blues Vocal

from Gypsy Blues by Dusty Woods

/

about

Rather spooky-flavoured slow blues with unusual intro and tasty lead guitar. Inspired by Dusty's Telecaster, "Gypsy".

lyrics

Verse 1:
Step inside a gypsy caravan
Tell me my future, 'cause I'm lonely man
I knew I was born to lose
When the gypsy sang the blues

Verse 2
Gypsy told me she don't need a crystal ball
No palms or tea leaves, she could see it all
She told me I had to pay some dues
And the gypsy sang the blues

Bridge:
Don’t bother with no horseshoes or rabbit's feet, she said
The horse was a loser and the rabbit wound up dead
Might as well go home now, and climb back into bed
Pull the covers over your head

Verse 3
So if your love life's not all that it should be
Don't go see the gypsy, just take a tip from me
If you do, be ready for bad news
When the gypsy sings the blues
When the gypsy sings the blues
