Flirtin' With The Blues

from Still Standing by Dusty Woods

/

about

Laid-back classic 12-bar blues with whimsical touches and a danceable beat.

lyrics

Verse 1:
Well, when a man lose his woman, no telling what he might do
Well, when a man lose his woman, there's no telling what he might do
Well since I lost you, baby, I've been flirtin' with the blues

Verse 2
If you see me sneakin, Mama, turn your lamp down low
If you see me sneakin, Mama, turn your lamp down low
When I'm flirtin' with the blues, I don't want no one to know.

Verse 3
Well, you don't want me mama, you say you don't like my style
Well, you don't want me baby, you say you don't like my style
Well, I'm Daddy's pride and joy, Mama's sweet angel child.

Verse 4:
Well, when a man lose his woman, there's no telling what he might do
Well, when a man lose his woman, there's no telling what he might do
Since I lost you, baby, I've been flirtin' with the blues
